Wai’anapanapa State Park

Right before entering the town of Hana you come to Wai’anapanapa State Park. This was my first time seeing a black sand beach and it was amazing. We took a quick walk around but after settling in to our condo we came back and took a dip in the ocean. The water drops off pretty quick so you don’t need to go out very far. Also, the current/waves are pretty strong so I didn’t want to be far from shore.
