I took the first photo with my wider lens to show the swan and the landscape. The second photo I took with my telephoto lens and focused on the swan. I had no idea the turtles were there. It wasn’t until I got home and saw the image on the computer that I realized she was surrounded by predators! Of course, each needs to survive but it’s the innocent babies that are killed. Sigh…nature can be so beautiful and so brutal.
