I found it difficult to be at the zoo. On the one hand it was amazing to see the animals up close but on the other hand it was so difficult to see them locked up for our entertainment. I would put down my camera and just stare into their eyes and it really did feel as if you were looking into their souls. There seemed to be a sadness on both sides of the camera. This is probably why I hardly ever go to a zoo.
