Maya actually thinks the birds might land on the bird feeders if she sits right on the railing. I hate to break it to her that they will probably just use the neighbor’s feeders. 

Poor Maya hasn’t had much attention the past few days with me staying in town and then going back and forth to the hospital. She has definitely been doing interesting things to grab my attention (eating Kleenex or paper while I’m talking on the phone; jumping up on the deck railing). I decided to work from home today, 1) because I’m still pretty tired and 2) Maya can have a little extra attention (although I do have to get work done).
