I was shocked to see that the cottage could be clearly seen from the front beach (typically you could only see a little of the roof). The tide completely washed away the dunes on my aunt and uncle’s property.

You can see from the bottom photo (taken 2 years ago) that the dunes block the view of the cottage. All is not lost though, the town of Plymouth gave residents permission, for the month of April, to push some of the sand back up to recreate the dunes.
