I went to bed last Thursday night believing we would only get 4-5 inches of snow (what the weather people were predicting), although, I was secretly hoping for more, so I could have a snow day. Well, half of my wish came true as I woke to close to a foot of snow. However, I waited and waited for a call saying the college would be closed, but it never came. I would have worked from home but had to go in and setup a video recording.
The news kept saying the roads in Boston were clear but it sure didn’t look that way to me. Just driving a little over a mile to the commuter rail station was treacherous. If the commuter rail wasn’t so close then I don’t know if I would have made it to work. I did end up leaving work a little early as the snow didn’t seem to want to stop. By the end of the day we had around 18+ inches of snow!
