Lucky Shot

This was a lucky shot and probably my best shot of the day. I was taking pictures of this seagull while it was on the ground and as I started to get a little closer it took off. I just pointed my camera and snapped away. I didn’t have time to setup the shot or even see the seagull in my viewfinder. I just hoped it was going to be in focus. I was amazed at how well the photo came out as far as focus and composition. I love when things work out that way (I have plenty of other shots of seagulls flying that didn’t come out at all).
