Seals at Plymouth

Yesterday I had planned on staying inside all day. While I had gone to bed early on New Year’s Eve I was still tired from my week off (visiting family and friends). I thought I wanted a quiet day indoors but I went online and saw that the Plymouth Photography MeetUp group was going to be taking pictures in Plymouth to start off the New Year. Since it was in the mid-40s I figured a walk around the waterfront would be a great way to 1) take some photos for the blog and 2) start the New Year off right.

I’m so glad I went. I have never seen seals in the Plymouth waterfront but yesterday there were two of them and they were very playful. At first they looked like black labs having fun in the water. They so much fun to watch and I’m happy I was able to capture a few photos of them. At times I think they were actually posing for all the photographers.
