I drove out to Saquish this past weekend and had a nice quiet day with my Mom and my aunt. A couple weeks ago I had gone out to the beach with the same idea of a quiet day and instead ended up kayaking over to Clark’s Island with my uncle and cousins. I wasn’t going to go but it’s only once a year that they open the island to the public and I was talked into going. I had actually never been to Clark’s Island in all these years. I’ve kayaked around it and every day I am out at the cottage I look across to the island but this was my first time stepping foot on it. I’m glad I went (thanks for talking me into it). It was a picture perfect day and the kayak over was very nice.
