Here’s a view of the entire ice scene. The two images are almost the same shot except the top one wasn’t cropped as tight as the bottom image (which I liked better). I uploaded the bottom image because it has the teddy bear in the scene and gives you a better idea of the size of these sculptures.
My mom emailed the other day to say: “I’m glad you took pictures of the ice sculptures, Jamie, because they are now gone. We rode over yesterday morning and they were all covered over. This morning they were uncovered, but the covers didn’t work. Just too warm and rainy I guess. Too bad after all that work.” It really is unfortunate, because we only had that one day of warm weather and since then it’s been freezing cold! At least the sculptures live on in the virtual world.
