Salt & Pepper Bridge

Another shot taken from the Longfellow Bridge which is sometimes referred to as the Salt & Pepper Bridge due to the shape of it’s towers. If you look closely you can see a fence in the bottom left corner of the tower. All the towers on the bridge were fenced off so that you couldn’t go inside them. I’m guessing it must have something to do with Homeland Security. I would have loved to have gone to the top of one to take photos. Although, being on the bridge was pretty high up and had a great view so I really can’t complain.

Loved seeing the salt and pepper shakers when I lived there 🙂

  2. I probably should have called it the Salt n Peppa bridge (as it’s pronounced in Boston)!

  3. Love the pov here….really enjoying your Boston series…makes me want to visit again soon!

  4. Susan, next time you visit Boston we should go on a photo walk around town.
Tomorrow I go on the Scott Kelby 3rd Annual Photo Walk. I decided to pick a different local than Boston this year. Heading to World’s End- south of Boston along the coastline.
