A spectacular/breathtaking view from the top of the lighthouse. I love this view! Thankfully, the windows were clean enough to shoot through and get a clear image. It’s pretty hot when you are at the top and it’s very small quarters. I waited for everyone to leave so I could get as many shots as possible. This is my favorite one (it’s actually 3 shots stitched together).
On the right is Duxbury Beach and on the left is Saquish Beach. While you have to drive through Duxbury to get to Saquish, Saquish is actually part of Plymouth. As you can see you have to travel a long dirt road to get to what I like to consider paradise. This was taken at low tide…looks like a lot more beach on the Saquish side, at least until the tide comes in.
I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July weekend. I plan on being out at Saquish enjoying some fun in the sun!

we went out there and it’s totally private property. $250 trespassing fine thank you very little. you can’t just go there you have to know somebody. Not worth it at all. lot’s of bugs and cranky old people. not going back EVER!

@Bebub. Yes, it is private which is one of the reasons I like it, but that’s probably because I know someone and can get out there without being fined. Plus, I’ve been going there for 30+ years so it holds lots of wonderful summer memories.
