Yellow Petals

I don’t have much to say this week. Another flower shot with pretty yellow petals.

I did sign up for a camera workshop class for this Sunday. It’s called “Flash, Fills and Reflectors” and it’s on how to use them outdoors. For me, the hardest part of video production and now photography is external lighting. I do okay when I have nice natural lighting but as soon as I have to adding external lights it gets tricky. Not that I can’t add external lights and get a quality image it’s just that it doesn’t come natural and it takes me a lot of time to get it right.

This workshop is coming just at the right time. I’ll be taking three senior photos in the next couple of months (friend, cousin, nephew). Plus, I’ll be meeting some new people who are also interested in photography. I think it should be a great learning experience.

  1. This is a lovely image…so soft and delicate and such great bokeh and dof. The workshop sounds great!
