I never would have guessed “eagle” for the sculpture in the top image. I had no idea what the sculpture in the second image was supposed to be and I’m still not sure what “reclining blade” means.

“Inner Eagle is a mythic bird/human figure combined with architectural elements. The use of compound curves, negative space, geometry, and clean silhouette are hallmarks of Haines’ work, which explores the formal aspects of sculpture: form, line, space, scale and composition. Reclining Blade fuses the idea of tools with the human figure.” I kind of thought it looked like a human “tool” when I saw the sculpture but I’ll leave it to your own imagination.
