I've seen this person the past few weeks in Downtown Crossing and finally had the SLR camera with me to get a picture.  She stands as still as a statue and whenever someone drops money in her bucket she puckers up and makes the sound of a kiss.  Rather strange.  The first time I saw her I wasn't sure if she was real.  She had been standing still for a fairly long time and then suddenly she moved- making a few people jump back.  Now I know she's real so it doesn't have the same effect.  For some reason, every time I see her I think of the White Witch from Narnia.
