What a difference a few days can make. This photo was taken about 3 hours before today's parade. I walked down to the Fenway around 9am to see if I could get the same shot as yesterday's post. While they had the barricades up, along the street, I was able to walk right down to the ball park. I knew the fans would be out early but I didn't realize I'd actually see the players driving in for the parade. Of course, you could only see them through their car window (Coco, Tito, Timlin, Dice-K, Okajima, Lowell, Papelbon, etc.). There was definitely excitement in the air.
As I was standing on the sidewalk I turned around and saw this good looking young guy. He was probably 2 feet away from me and he looked right back at me. In the back of my mind I thought… "hey, he looks a lot like Jacoby Ellsbury." As he walked by me I heard people shouting JACOBY. Sure enough it was him and there I was with a camera in my hand and I didn't even take a picture. Oh well, one less photo for the blog.

Jacoby Ellsbury is Erik’s new boyfriend. I don’t know what he would have done had he seen him on the sidewalk! Very exciting that they won again, now we can all catch up on some sleep!
