We interrupt this week of Rome images with a special selection of photos from the 4th of July weekend. After weeks and weeks of rainy days we were blessed with two gorgeous days of sunshine. I spent most of Saturday out at Saquish basking in the sun. Saturday night I headed over to Chris and Karen's house to meet up with the family to head down to the fireworks. It was Halifax's 275 birthday celebration so they had a day of festivities and ended with a spectacular fireworks display. Sunday was another beautiful day so I decided I better take advantage of it and headed back down to Saquish for the day. Kevin, Jordan and Jena did a great job creating this patriotic sandcastle (Jordan's design).
