The last obstacle, to reaching the 400 ft Waimoku Falls, was to cross a flowing stream. I wasn’t sure if we would be able to get across as the water was flowing pretty good and the rocks were very slippery. However, we could see/hear a bunch of teens on the other side and decided if they did it we could do it (50 is the new 30 ;-). I crossed at a spot just a few feet up from where Chris and Karen crossed (it looked deeper where they were crossing and I had a camera on me).

Even if you didn’t cross the stream you could still see the falls but, once over the stream, you had a much clearer/up close view. It was definitely worth the hike!
