All quiet on Yawkey Way while the Red Sox are away.
Well, they did it again…another World Series Championship!!
This was taken Friday after the Red Sox left for Colorado with a 2-0 lead in the World Series. It was a little eerie walking through The Fenway at 7pm without feeling any of the excitement in the air. The news crews were all packed up and out of sight. While just three days earlier you couldn't walk 10 feet without running into a camera crew. The area had been bustling with people taking photos, buying t-shirts and even some "Fenway Faithfuls" waiting in line for tickets.
I'm sure it will be a different picture today when the Sox arrive back home.
